Tea, Cake & Death

I’m a fan of this. I think the more open we are with talking about death, and the more we take back control of how we honor those who have passed (I do NOT want a stuffy service!), the better off we’ll be…and maybe we’ll learn to appreciate life more.

Death & the Maiden

This week is all about The Big Conversation as it’s Dying Matters Awareness Week (9th – 15th of May). We learn from the Mary Poppins of Death herself, Louise Winter, that talking about death can be as easy as tea & cake. From Brooklyn to The Isle of Wight. The more we engage with death as a part of life, and life as part of death, the better our lives, and ultimately our deaths will be.
