Ashley Nicole Hunter is a 30-something writer of Slovak-descent living in central Arkansas with her husband and an assortment of spoiled pets. She attends the University of Central Arkansas, where she is working towards the completion of two degrees, one in creative writing and the other in religious studies (because if you’re going to be poor, you might as well be poor doing something you love).
While attending UCA, she is proud to be a staff member of The Vortex, UCA’s award-winning literary journal which prints annually. She also volunteers at Conway Locally Grown, a farmer’s market, and is working with a committed group of people to open Conway’s first Pagan temple.
ANH is passionate about her faith, community service, writing, and learning about different cultures. She has a fondness for Scotch (neat), chocolate (dark), and the comforting silence of an autumn night at 2 A.M.
